I swear Ecomodder just did something wierd

I went into my fuel log area and only changed the prices I paid on gas because I never write them in and my little stuff over to the left <<<< that says "'00 Neon 90 day: 30.59 mpg (US)" went from 30.69 to 30.59 mpg??? I did not change ANY of the fuel added or miles traveled sections... Whats up with that??

PS: Sorry I spelled Weird wrong

Maybe it was just getting around to resetting. I doubt there's anything up with the algorithm. Math is math and it appears to still work.

So... Grabbity remains relatively unaffected by this, right?

I know what grabbity is but I'm not sure what you mean...

lol... I mean that now, in your head, this event is rather unimportant. Now that you've figured out (to your satisfaction) what happened, you can safely say that "Grabbity remains relatively unaffected by this."

It just means that the situation doesn't "pull any weight".

Yeah your right, I was pretty worried at first
So since the thread is done, Id like to tell you:
my g/f calculated her MPG correctly for her 2001 kia rio and only got 22MPG, she was sooo disappointed... She wanted between 29 and 33. I was really surprised at her reaction to it because she does not seem to care about MPG all that much.

I told her that's what happens when you drive 70 on the highway and she got even more mad and told me that she drives normal and that it must be the car hopefully her next fuel log will be way better and maybe she will get into the habit of just always logging her fuel

So now she's got something to shoot for.

For you - instead of telling her what she's doing wrong, try encouraging her to do some more "right" things. Noone likes to be told they're wrong about something, but many people are willing to accept advice on how to do things "right".

Offer advice while you're riding with her, but don't be overbearing about it. Like when she guns it off a red light, say something like: "Ya know, you're probably better off just slightly pushing the throttle until you're through the intersection, if you want to get better gas mileage."

Or like, when she passes someone on the highway, suggest that instead of passing, she just fall in behind them. Let her know that it will only take a few more minutes, and she'll be saving money on the deal.

If she's into math, you can do a little bit to actually show her how she'd be saving money by doing things only slightly differently. Who knows, you might actually get her into modding as well!

Oh, but it is the car's fault. There's definately something wrong when it uses so much fuel at 70 on the highway Tell to install a Kammy + wheel skirts and she'll see better FE at highway speeds.

Yeah, she was already in a not-so-good mood that day >.<
Her car was messed up for like 1 1/2 days but she got it fixed, I hope that fix helps her out some
I always make sure she has her tires pumped up and make sure all her fluids are around the right levels, they were all 3 psi down so I pumped them up for her, maybe that will help out some too. I think she would be happy with like 26mpg or more.
