opengauge development: Waba Rules :)

Well, I was getting real frustrated with the garnet environment. And rediscovered waba (actually wound up on superwaba ) and finally made some real progress on the palm, and the same package runs on windows CE, my desktop, newtons, ti calculators , gameboy and whever else they port waba. So where to start? How about an freeduino LCD Emulator/prototyper?

I checked the source in, if you have jdk1.3 or greater and eclipse and can install superwabasdk then you can edit and compile it also. The com port was a pain to sort out, but even worse was trying to find an actual fixed with font. Never found one that worked.

Here is the source (and the palm files), it doesn't do anything interesting yet, it is just all the pieces in one place.

FYI, eclipse is a real handy environment too, the complie, edit, run cycle only takes a couple keystrokes (unlike garnet), and having code completion is a real time saver. Plus there is a lot of support for it and it plugs directly into CVS (like at sourceforge).

Ok, it was a horrible waste of real estate on a palm I have to put some huge, easy to see numbers on this thing. I tagged the current state of the project as "endOfLCDStuff" in CVS if anyone wants to restore it to that point.
