teknomage2012 06-06-2010 05:26 PM

will88 06-26-2010 10:46 AM

range aint that big a deal u can always add a diesel genrater on a pull behind tralior

kawboyCAFE 08-10-2010 05:13 PM

you would think it would have longer range for as much as it costs. but then again, everything they make is crazy expensive.

Christ 08-10-2010 05:25 PM

It's a one off bike... the purchase price isn't associative of the actual cost to produce.

kawboyCAFE 08-10-2010 05:32 PM

yeah, i know. but even if they mass produced them they would be expensive. every bike they build, i can build the exact copy for half the cost. just like all the other chopper builders bikes, you are buying the name.

Christ 08-10-2010 05:35 PM

Yeah, the name, and you're also paying for them to have come up with an idea for you to copy... because clearly, if you'd come up with the idea, you'd have built it. You just admitted you have the skill set necessary.

And I'm sure, if you had built it, and were intending to sell it, you'd sell it at market value, based on retail prices, and not for the same amount you paid for materials and time to build it.

Guess that's reality, for ya, though.

kawboyCAFE 08-10-2010 05:38 PM

sorry if you took offense to something i said. wasnt meant that way. i was just pointing out my thoughts on it.

Christ 08-10-2010 05:41 PM

Nope, no offense taken. Just pointing out the reality of the situation.
