It's a one off bike... the purchase price isn't associative of the actual cost to produce.

yeah, i know. but even if they mass produced them they would be expensive. every bike they build, i can build the exact copy for half the cost. just like all the other chopper builders bikes, you are buying the name.

Yeah, the name, and you're also paying for them to have come up with an idea for you to copy... because clearly, if you'd come up with the idea, you'd have built it. You just admitted you have the skill set necessary.

And I'm sure, if you had built it, and were intending to sell it, you'd sell it at market value, based on retail prices, and not for the same amount you paid for materials and time to build it.

Guess that's reality, for ya, though.
