1992 Honda Civic VX

Hi guys,
I recently bought a VX without knowing that it was a VX lol. I was just looking for a civic hatch and I ended up with a VX. It has 109,500 miles on it and I wanted a civic that I could customize a little more. I was just wondering how much I could sell it for. It is completely stock other than an aftermarket intake, but I still have the stock intake. Any input is appreciated. The car runs great and has A/C.

well one just sold on ebay for 6300. it was completely stock and near mint condition with 83k miles on it. thats the highest ive seen one go for in the past year or 2. you should be able to get over 3k for it depending how much rust it has and how the interior is. im glad you decided not to do any work to it. they are hard to find completely stock like that. (and usually worth more stock than if someone swapped in another single cam or even a dohc swap) my suggestion- put the stock intake on it, clean it up, and throw it on ebay

Thanks for the input. The car is in great condition. there are only maybe 3 spots of rust about 1/4 a dime size on the exterior and the interior is pretty much spotless with the exception of a dirt stain on the back seat. The previous owner ran the back bumper into something and dented the bumper and the tailgate. The tail gate isn't aligned perfectly, but it isn't horrendous looking. I popped the dent that was in the plastic bumper out so there isn't that bad anymore. engine wise, the car runs great. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I did a full tune up and she runs smoothly.

As it is I would imagine that it would get $4,000 to $5,000 on Ebay, list it on Craigslist and you might get $3,000 for it, performance mods will drop the value, same with bondo or other repairs to the rust unless you can do a flawless job on them, the KBB value has been slowly going up but the Ebay and craigs list selling price has been going up much faster.
