Pizza tray types
Couldn't find any aluminum in my area, and don't think I want to paint them so aluminum is a must.
Main ones out there seem to be winco brand which come in two styles. Angled rim (APZT) http://img5.foodservicewarehouse.com...co_APZT-20.jpg http://images.zesco.com/pimages/018/018-b-113.jpg Or smooth rim (APZC) http://img3.foodservicewarehouse.com...co_APZC-16.jpg So which one looks better for aero and convenient mounting? I was thinking the more rounded one for aero, but would like to double check with the pros. :D |
It won't matter that much, but if you can, get a convex shaped (slightly bulging) cover.
The smooth rimmed examples are most popular with ecomodders here ;) |
There is another type; the so-called "coupe" style, which looks just like the smooth rim:

Okay, cool. That's what I was thinking.
And yeah, those last ones actually are coupe style. And thanks for the link but I found someone who will ship a lot cheaper than those guys. :D |

I love deep dish pizza.
|
I also went with the "smooth rim" style on my ride. 16" pizza pan was literally perfect for my 15" wheel. I know you arn't planning to, but I did paint them with wheel paint and they are holding up pretty good so far.
Good luck with the aluminum ones...let us know how they work out. |
