Power Antenna Cut-Off?
So, the Accord has a power antenna, which, with the old radio, would go down if you were using the CD player instead of the radio. I recently got a new radio, and the antenna is up whenever it's on, even if the CD player is being used.
So, my question concerns installing a switch to override the radio's signal to the antenna motor. I know it wouldn't be huge, but I figure this could help out some. Opinions? |
Power Antenna Override
This is on Team integra.net but the color coding should be the same for your accord. |
Hmm, any way that I'd be able to use a lighted switch, since there's 3 prongs, one for 12V, one for power source, and one to ground?

Oh, duh. Thanks. Now, to clarify, Antenna is to the antenna and Radio is the trigger wire?

Thinking about it though, wouldn't the antenna trigger wire be a 12v power source anyways?
