I'm seeing a lot of cars with these wheels, and my first reaction is not to laugh but to wonder what kind of a mess these wheels make aerodynamically.

discouraged importers from equipping "foriegn" sports cars with
them, and they disappeared as OEM parts...
But they have never been restricted as aftermarket items.

A guy I work with saw one at a stop light. The car next to it scratched the entire side as it pulled to the light.

A BFH would fix them up pretty nicely.

Looking at the pictures, I'm thinking you would have to get extremely close to the car to actually scratch the side of your own car.
