RIP old friend
I knew this ex Marine from 1986 until his passing in February. My brother told me today. In 15 years of our interactions we became friends of the type that last a lifetime. Even after selling my shop I would stop by and use his glass bead blaster to cleanup parts. The last one were on my 1965 Honda 50. I alwasy left them some lunch money as a token of my appreciation.
He was a big man and a biker and the kind of person who would drag you out of a real mess and not many would even think of trying to stop him. I'd bet his ring size was at least a 16, mighty strong hands. I sent him a lot of work and NEVER heard anyone who regretted the reference, including every piece of radiator work he ever did for me. Semper FI dear friend, I can hardly believe you went first. This one hurts. regards mech http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/dai...?pid=174141753 PS sorry I forgot the link to the obit, feeling old tonight. |
My condolences Old Mech. My prayers go out for you and your friend's family.

Sorry for your loss.

Condolences for you Mech. He passed far too soon. Care to elaborate on what took him? Natural causes doesn't fit the bill for an active 60year old man...

I am very sorry to hear. He sounds like the kind of person we should all mourn. All the best to you as well as his family.

Condolences. Sounds like an upstanding guy.
