So, I want to build a snowman.
I do not believe that I have ever done this, even on the rare occasions when I was at the same place as snow. These are supposedly the correct proportions:

Where do you get the 1:2:3 proportion? It's in the Fibonacci series (:1,\;1,\;2,\;3,\;5,\;8,\;13,\;21,\;34,\;55,\;89) but you could go 2:3:5 or 13:21:34. Roll at random so you don't get a cylinder. |

All you need is motivation and wet snow. Dry snow won't work, which is what you get when it's very cold and the ground is frozen.

I am not counting on snow, in fact, I want to build this snowman indoors, so my kids can appreciate him. I was thinking three of inflating punching bag balloons with Great Stuff and then painting it white. Great stuff often has a texture, but do you think it would be flat inside a balloon? I could always spray it with some wall texture. Now I find myself in a quandary. Carrot or button nose?! |
I think Dave Ramsey would tell you to save your money to pay off the student loans and go build a real snowman when the opportunity arises.
