Since I recently aquired additional parking space, is it normal that I should immediately want to fill it with junk automobiles?

Someone told me about these, and I located them with Google Streetview (screen grab below).

Later confirmed with Darin Eyeview.

prescott ontario - Google Maps

White = 1995 Pontiac Firefly, 3 cyl., 5-speed, badly rusted
Maroon = 1995 (?) Metro, 3 cyl., auto., moderately rusted
Purple = 199? Suzuki Swift, 4 cyl., auto., less rusted

I wonder if they're for sale. I wonder if I'm turning into a crazy person.

Several projects come to mind... unbidden...

You must have them.

You must have them ALL.

There is a rule that states no matter how much storage space you have, the amount of junk you have will expand to fill it. ;)

I had an average of 7 cars for a couple of years. One thing I'm glad of is the extra time I have nowadays with only one car. They end up owning you a little.

That said, I do miss my Citroen's. Maybe attending a 12 step recovery program for clutter'ers could help.

Why does it feel like both of you are sitting on my shoulders, one on each side, whispering in my ears?

knock on their door and introduce your self, bring beer.
Make sure they have a good home by giving them the option of the cars living at your home, but you never know, the might be happy where they are.

A set of Swifts? A fleet of Fireflies? A murder of Metros?

I Colorado you have to insure and register all vehicles even if they are in storage. It gets expensive.

Guitar guy: too funny!

Ontario doesn't have such regulations.

Ryland: I'll probably knock on the door at some point. At the very least, I do want some spare parts (including body panels) so I can do some more aggressive mods to the BlackFly, while saving/storing its nice bits to preserve the option of mod-reversal.

Too bad the one with the best body doesn't also have the 3-cyl / 5 speed though. Then I could have spare drivetrain parts too.

I'd expect that from CarloSW, not you!!

It sure looks green up there already :P

If adoption doesn't end up successful, let me know what you want and I'll bring it to you at the GGP. There is no shortage of these down here with some nice panels. Remember the '00 swift I told you about that may have that coveted trans in it (still have yet to confirm)? It was not in a crash, and is in pristine condition with zero rust (yes, even the control arm mounts).....and it's sitting in the salvage yard. That should be a crime.
