Studded Winter Tires Rolling Resistance
Has anyone done any comparison of the rolling resistance of studded vs non-studded tires? I would think that a studded tire would have a higher RR and lower FE.

I think in order to do so, one would have to compare a set of studdable tires that both have and do not have studs.
Winter tires have aggressive tread patterns and soft rubber compounds ... not the best for rolling resistance. |
Agreed, I'd love to run LRR tires year round, but living on a dirt road in central NH, it's not an option.
