Unscientific observation.
Last evening, I took my brand new Prius c on a round trip of about forty miles. Averaged 56.1 mpg per the display. That was on factory tire pressures.
Same time this evening, I took the exact same route. Today I set my tire pressures at 40/38 and installed a lower grille block. Ran the same 60mph on the freeway and speed limits elsewhere. Conditions were the same. Temp on SG ranged between 186 and 195. Average for the same trip was 60.2 mpg per the display.
Not very scientific, but interesting to me.

What is the stock tire pressure, and what is the sidewall maximum?

Neil, the factory is 35/33 and the max pressure is 55.

So lose some air, yank the grille block and do it again. A-B-A proves the mods and makes you a scientist. Put it back together for A-B-A-B and you're saving fuel scientifically!

Do you have the 15" or 16" wheels? I need to know because the 16" wheel uses the same tire size as my Fiesta. I have not been able to find out what tire they run and if it is a LRR. My factory Hankooks are kinda crappy, so I'm looking to upgrade.

i just put a set of LRR tires on my ZX2 n noticed an immediate improvement so i wish you the best of luck w? ur fiesta

As far as I know their is not a LRR in my tire size, but if Toyota is putting the same size tire on a Prius c I bet it is LRR.
