Crx Hf- how to tell which HF? (Ca, Fed, etc...)

Hello all,

I just bought a 1986 Crx Hf. Got it for a steal because its not running. While looking for parts I keep finding different options for the HF. I don't know much about these cars and hope another Crx owner can help.

===== I can't tell from the VIN
===== I can't tell from searching here or the internets...

What am I missing or what might tip me off???

thanks,

Jimmy

Well.... some details(in case anyone else is searching for this)....

From talking to parts guy at Honda dealership- the codes KA, KH, or KL can be found on the driver's door jamb sticker

I do not know if these are Honda-common or just CRX codes.... (the below descriptions taken from an online honda parts dealer)....

KA (49 State Emissions)
5MT (Five Speed Manual Transmission)

KH (High Altitude Emissions)
5MT (Five Speed Manual Transmission)

KL (California Emissions)
