I just put a hurting on Team Motorcycle

Joined Team Motorcycle with my new FJR1300 AE. I'm averaging around 42 mpg which kills the team average. Sorry, I will drop out if you other member would like me to.

Anyway this is my new ride. I will say that I'm not driving in a fuel efficient manner, nor does it look like it will be possible. This bike has the electronically activated clutch, which does not allow for any coasting with the clutch in.

I purchased the bike new last month as unsold inventory. I've been having a blast with it.

when i had a vfr750 i almost always got 44mpg, putt putt around and i might get 46mpg, rip around at very illegal speeds i might get 40mpg. i think the engine was so much more effiecent at higher rpm than lower revs that speed made a surprisingly small impact. that being said EOC might do well, but idk if your bike is going to be able with its clutch system unless you can get it in neutral

I can't even go into neutral unless fully stopped. The clutch does disengage below about 1300 rpm, but engine brakes all the way down.

I had thought that the objective of the team compatition was to see how good we can get not how bad. An FJR1300 is not exactly a FE vehical, and 42.66 is not even as good as my Yaris!

That 1300cc I4 is a ridiculously strong engine for a motorcycle, I guess it can never reach semi-efficient working conditions at any sane speed I think that FJR needs coasting and P&G like a bite of bread. So they remove this option from the drive train. I guess I go find my slow clap processor

Why don't you create a "0 / 60 in less than 3s team" ?
You'll be the best at 45 mpg !

So they remove this option from the drive train.could it be done to the bike? just wire up a button / switch to the clutch actuator, and coast when you want to?... or a single switch to kill the engine and engage the clutch, switch it back on and it bump starts automaticly I guess I go find my slow clap processor
