921 Milburn Electric:

I like this better than the Baker electric:

This would suit my current needs very well -- in-town trips once or twice a week. Good ingress/egress. And I like the lines of the bodywork.

While the story is about a $33K barn find, there is a restored example at 3:39. I'd settle for a 'foamie' (fiberglass over foam buck) replica with modern OEM electrics. Like an Arcimoto drivetrain in the rear.

I've thought about how 'easy' it would be to create a modern urban vehicle in a similar form factor. Actually, you could get pretty close with fiberglass 1926 Model T pieces and parts.

The 1925 Model T roadster had a narrow turtledeck similar to the Milburn. Reproduction parts are reasonably available. It appears that two back halves and four front fenders would provide a close approximation (The T had a square corner at the front of the rear fender). The doors, windows and roof could be wooden construction, or square metal tubes. Reasonably widened and lengthened cabin, 1920s people were thin.

I'd probably go with 19230-31 Model A wire wheels (19") with BMW i3 tires.

I'd just go with that 'Noddy Car' I linked.

https://ecomodder.com/forum/showthre...out-41671.html
You can run a more torquey motor than him if you like and add some solar on the flat and simple curve top surfaces as funds allow.
I'd round/aero the nose some too.

Best part is; no license etc reqd.

For a seldom used, only when the weather's fine, local runabout I'm pretty keen to know your/people's objections to this..?
ie: What are the turn offs??

So ye; till keen to know your/people's objections to this..? Just out of interest.
Initial reactions? (As any emotional reaction immediately kicks the imagination into high gear, to rationalize the reaction)

I'd want something that looks more like a stitch and glue kayak.

And with that narrow front track, a tilting front suspension.
