Resetting DFCO point on SGII

I'm not sure I understand the DFCO setting on the SGII. In my car the fuel injectors come back on aroung 1100 RPMs, but the gauge continues to show all 9's down to basically idling speed as long as I don't touch the gas. Is there an way to fix this? Would it just be trial and error getting it right for my particular car, or should I just leave the default setting alone?

Show the TPS gauge. What is your TPS at idle? If I remember right, set DFCO to 4 higher than your idle TPS. Mine is 10, so in theory 14 DFCO would be the best setting.

TPS is 12 at idle, so I should be at 16...and default is 24, right?

Thanks for the info, but it's probably a moot point now. The Mazda is officially for sale
