Tropical high elevation glaciers go first

PhD Mark Bowen, in his book, 'On thin Ice' mentioned that this is where we'd see climate change really begin.
In 1979, Elecroperu Electric Company hydro dam monitoring was recording glacial retreat, impacting ten of their twelve dams.
In 2009, Bolivia's Chacaltaya Glacier was 'gone.'
12-million people's drinking water was impacted.
All mountain villages had to be abandoned.
18-thousand years of ice was lost in 26-years.
All tropical high-elevation glaciers are in retreat.

Good. I would be worried if they were getting bigger.

Yellowstone showing off it's 'tropical' wardrobe

The current flooding and destruction which has closed the Park is demonstrating both the captured Equatorial heat, by way of the atmospheric river which has dumped the record rainfall, ascending freeze-line, clobbering the snowpack, and the drunken polar vortex which is inebriating the Jet Stream, allowing the atmospheric river to just 'park' itself over Yellowstone.
Here's one commentary:

Yeah the sun went quiet like it normally does 5.9 months, the jet stream gets drunk and wobbles about.
I like how a late snow fall and then rain during the rainy season is proof of huberistic climate change.

Climate Change [as] in Hiberia? ;)

Yellowstone is a case of 'it could be so much worse'.

What if the Next Ice Age Started on Time?
I've always considered ice more likely than runaway greenhouse. But the 'delay' in onset predates the Industrial Revolution.

Well we know that runaway ice happens, has happened and will happen again.
