Today I was asked to help install mufflers without catalysts on a western star rig..

I had to weld up some melted clamps to custom, and they installed easily.

the catalyst original mufflers were destroying the engine and doing crazy physics. I laughed. I did the same chores to a doubled up subaru with 90 horses.
this truck goes in for one more valve job, and back to powerful, cool, economical, and brackets that can hold up mufflers weighing three times less, and 700 degrees cooler.

Challenge your automobile. "They" aren't quite right about alot of things.

LOL. I'm going to put stacks on my Ranger after I slam it and drop the OM616 into it.

it seems the truck kept the same size pipes for years, from 290 into the 600s...
the 500 in vid can explode things at 5 inch. it seems the past is catching up to old designs.

I have begged for a 3408 cat, dad says "they do not make them anymore".

I also have 30 years of trucking in at age 37... and I got alot to say, not exactly friend like either...
