Hankook Tire's Enfren tire technology

Hankook Tires enfren technology tires achieved 5% FE over radial tires in Australia's Fuel Economy Challenge. Easily retro-fitted these tires improve FE and therefore lesser emissions. The improved reduction of rolling resistance by these enfren tires show a coefficient of 8.32 compared to standard radials range w/ coefficient of 10.5, a reduction of 21 percent. Hankook reports that the effectiveness to the use of 100 percent pure silica. Enfren tires are currently available only in Korea & Australia but is expected for overseas markets soon.
