Injector Fuel Rates

I'm working on the MPG display and need to figure out how many gallons of fuel are consumed for a given fuel injector duration.
This is for a Geo Metro 1.0L, which has TBI, a single injector.
I looked at the MPGuino documentation and it has a table of parameters for different cars, and it shows 500,000,000 usec/gallon for the 1.0L Geo.
Am I correct that this is 500 seconds == 1 Gallon of fuel ??

yes, 500 million uSec = 500 thousand mSec = 500 sec.

I guess that means the injectors max capacity is 3600/500=6.2 GPH?

At 55hp, the injector should max roughly 36 lb/hr, that would be 6 GPH,
so I guess 500 sec/gallon must be correct.
