I checked out both the sites that lead this one and I can't see why anyone would be interested in them. The one appears to have been dead and was recently resurrected. They must be somehow be manipulating the vote.

I read Autoblog Green once in a while.

Sometimes the writing is cringe-worthy. And lots of times there's nothing "green" about the subject matter. And it's maddening to read reviews where they don't even report on fuel consumption! (Happens more than you'd expect.)

But they're definitely on top of the scene - quick to regurgitate corporate news. When I want to know the specs or see pics of the newest eco "whatever" car, ABG is one place to find it.

And the reader comments beneath their posts are often entertaining... even useful.

I agree - ABG is toast unless they mount a last minute push (they have a really big readership and could do it if they want to).

Our challenge now is catching Streetsblog. And they've picked up a bit of momentum in the last 24h.

At current rates (as of 6 pm EST), my chart shows EM passing ABG late tomorrow or early Wednesday and SN on Thursday (voting closes Friday).

FYI, ABG seems to think that you can vote once each day. I've been trying (nothing underhanded - just clicking the radio button & submit), but I'm not sure if it actually works.

It'll say something like "Thank you, we have already counted your vote;" then you know yours wasn't counted. Just tried, and it won't take another vote from me even though I voted several days ago.

I just picked some random green colors. I thought the green for ecomodder matched the logo.
