WatchJRGo bought and fixed up a Metro! :D

This may not become his daily driver: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLl7...em-uploademail

He drag-raced it [or something]. It had about a 17.5-second 0-60. Then he sold it within minutes on Facebook.

Maybe he should have asked a little more.

I am a sucker and will watch this.

And it's an XFi!

He doesn't even know what it means... so, he accidentally bought the holy grail of Metros.

He's not worthy!

I'm making payments on an XFi. He says I could take possession now, but until I sell the Dasher, there's no place to park it.

Congrats! You bought WatchJRgo's Metro? :)

And I stand corrected - I watched the whole video.

Part-way through, he apparently did a tiny bit of research and figured out that the XFi is the special "hypermilers" version of the Metro.

But then he didn't even say how much he sold it for!

No. I've driven it occasionally as a loaner for a mechanic in Coburg, OR. Maybe ten years ago? The Dasher was also a mechanic's loaner I'd driven years before I bought it.

I do not know that he ever says how much profit he made. Here he bought a Kia Optima for $300, fixed it for $73, but did not say for how much he sold it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ES339FmMXCw
In this video he bought a piece of Chevy for $290 and explained how much he got for it, but he parted it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cc7dbUbu7mg
[I think that he made $69 for a couple hours of his time]

I hired a mobile mechanic to meet me to look at the $250 Acura (without title, keys, or all of its wheels). I think that he charges more than Crazy J, who has had his own garage for twenty years.

J.R. gets parts from O'Reilly's all of the time. I wonder how it would work out if this guy left his cards at every local parts store and fixed vehicles in their parking lot.

Unfortunately, there may be a liability issue.

ChrisFix bought a TrailBlazer for $500, fixed it up for less than $500, and says that it is now worth $3,000. He has fixed up a few cars and said for how much he sold them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bbi0kEaTgio

JR is cool, but I feel like Chris does a better job.
