What color to paint my full front air block?

I got a HUGE election sign, and I think I figured out a way to temporarily attach it without damaging the bumper (until I get a scrap bumper that I can drill into without caring about it)...

My dilemma is that it obviously has the candidate's name on it so I need to paint it. I plan on buying something similar to Krylon Fusion paint for Plastics.

What color should I get to paint the air dam? Here is my car color:

My natural choice is the blue color of painter's tape... I just love that color, but I don't want to attract THAT much attention. Something neutral would be better.... black? gray? white? tan? idk. What do you guys think?

Can you get slightly matching paint from the auto parts store?

Maybe... but it would be a lot more money than rattle-can at Home Depot. My biggest concern is money right now.

When in doubt: flat black.

Ditto.

At my local retailer, Krylon Fusion only comes in a satin finish. But it's flat enough.

I have flat black and you hardly notice it's there, I've also bought paint code matched paint and it cost $11 to have it mixed and put in a spray can, I've also used bumperr paint on plastic bumpers, and found it to have poor coverage (didn't hide other colors well), but it did stick to the plastic without peeling.

Well the winner is flat black. Turns out Home Depot doesn't sell Fusion, so I asked what was best for plastic and the guy says RustOLeum Painter's Touch. I got a can of gray primer and a can of flat black.

Exactly!

Get a can of matching Dupli-Color and spray it the same color as your ride.

I'm a big fan of painting EVERYTHING the same color!

Here's my ride...

Matching paint on the skirts, moldings, mirrors, lips, alloy wheels, et cetera...

That's the way I like 'em!

In my defense, "silver" is a lot easier to find than "metallic beige/tan/champagne color".
