What are you working on?
Anything goes here.
Car project? House project? Anything. So, I picked up an aluminum engine block for my 93 last night. And installed some amber LEDs. Also, packed up more crap in my garage and attic in preparation for moving. -ryan s. |
Passenger mirror delete on the T-Racer (it was busted anyway).
Chasing a few less-than-perfect electrical connections on the Bel Air. Well I can't complain- she is 55 years old and has hardly ever given me grief. |
As Darin likes to say, I have too many projects. Here are the current active ones:
- finishing up a remodel of my office - Honda Civic engine rebuild - Saturn L200 A/C line repair Those are the main ones with many others in line like fixing up my Tercel and finishing the solar hot water panel installation on the house. |
Working on my Mustang right now. Replaced the hatch, drivers side tail-light, trim on the window, passengers wiper arm and a wash. Still have to find doors, buy new rims off a buddy (stock rims just not bent :P), track down a really, really bad oil leak, etc etc list goes on.

I've got two kids. Projects are more like piles of stuff with intentions than anything else.
|
Finished cleaning and sandblasting the block.
Prepping it for powder coating tonight. -ryan s. |
Looking at my old enginer kit and either reuse it, reconfigure the batteries or something else.

I have some random small stuff to do in my apartment, and am considering to do some refurbishments in the kitchen and to replace the entire floor in the bathroom. Probably only going to have time for that in December...

Attention-seeking behavior. :D

It's like modding or hypermiling. There's no such thing as perfection, just a best so far.

We bought a house on Friday.
The sellers hadn't mowed the lawn in, oh, maybe 6 weeks? The grass was 18" high. I did get a sweet Husqvarna ride on mower with the house. It took almost 4 hours to mow the lawn. And then I burned up all the branches from the two trees that had fallen a month earlier. And cleaning. And painting. And drinking beer. And cleaning. And packing. Gosh. -ryan s. |
Finding a defensive driving class to get my ticket dismissed. Only my second ticket in 13 years of driving!
Just solved the midrange/under load miss in the Echo Need to swing by tenant's abandoned house and mow again |
The daughter bought a dark green used car, suburban camo. I applied reflectors to the sides, front and rear. Both bumpers got reflective tape below the lights. Better seen than hurt.

Worked all weekend. Getting ready for the big move on Saturday.
Then I can start powder coating and building up my engine. -ryan s. |
I found an air dam and front tire splat combo off of a pickup truck. I'm going to trim it down and put it on my car.
|
Just recieved a dump truck full of wood for the winter.
Time to get the ax out and start chopping and stacking. Also, priming and possibly painting my newly (free) acquired chin spoiler as well. -ryan s. |
