where can i find hypermiling technique list

Now i don't want any of that rubbish where the top ten ways to improve fuel efficiency are all about not driving in the first place i get that part only an idiot wouldn't.

Asides from coasting to stops and slowly accelerating using cruise control what else can i do?

Is switching to neutral on a down hill slope worth it?
not breaking when making a turn is understandable but should i be in neutral when i do it?
what other skill/techniques related options are there.

For me NOT driving to work is not an option. I drive a 2007 Toyota Camry and a 2007 Toyota RAV4 i live in NYC and am lucky to drive to and from work during off peak hours.

also what good fuel monitoring gauges are out there and do they all go vor over 100 dollars?

thanks in advance.

You can start by reading the sticky post at the top of this very forum you posted in. Patience grasshopper! Look around the various forums a little before demanding we spoonfeed the info to you.

I'm amazed that you live IN NYC and don't commute using public transportation. I have about a dozen friends who live in NYC and none of them own a car.

The Scanguage is the best tool most of the members here use. Check out the group buy info over in the "INSTRUMENTATION" forum. If you are handy you can build an MPGuino with information from that forum.

Stop in at the "INTRODUCTIONS" forum and introduce yourself.

Your welcome!

yeah i live in a part with no Trains and i get off at work around midnight although going to work would probably take 30 mins by bus/train (15 mins by car) it would take about an hour or so at midnight when i go home.

Occasionally i bike ride but my job is rather demanding physically so i tend to go home beat and in no mood for a 5 mile bike ride even though i love to bike ride, if i had an office job i would do it in a heart beat.
