Think City ev- 100 mi range

This car company is liquidating their only car the Think City EV. I'm pretty sure the company's also going out of business, so parts will likely be difficult to find if one purchased one. Price is about $24,000 each. Range said to be 100 miles.

the info site-
THINK Electric Vehicles | Think Electric Vehicles – USA | 100% Green. 100% Unique.

where to find some- last paragraph
Discontinued 2011 Think City Electric Cars For Sale: $22,300

I just don't want to see a seemingly good ev to go to waste.

Weird thing is they are less than 40 miles from me but for me to purchase one it would be 4000 more dollars than someone living in a different state

Since you are so close, you should find out if you can buy parts from them cheap (like incomplete chassis or battery/charger banks for example)

Might be one way (when we get closer to the very end) of getting cheap relatively robust EV components or projects.

Cheers

I was thinking the exact same thing as you. Right now I'm in the process of collecting parts to assemble an electric vehicle. I have a donor car ( a 94 Saturn SL1) and a motor (Azure Dynamics AC24). I would be awesome to get some lithium batteries and a charger along with a controller and a battery management system.
