Fasteners

I know they have been discussed but I don't remember anyone ever posting a link to where they can be purchased. I saw them in the Summit catalog the other day and thought I would share.

Summit Racing SUM-G1620 - Summit Racing® Self-Ejecting Quick-Release Fasteners - Overview - SummitRacing.com

A few of these on belly pans, wheel skirts, grill blocks etc for quick removal.

Dzus fasteners are glorious, but they also require mounting plates :

Summit quick-release fastener weld plates are the anchors for quarter-turn, cam-lock, quick-release fasteners, including our own Summit lines and other forms of Dzus fasteners. They mount on the part of the vehicle to which you are attaching the removable panel and carry the special spring that the fastener uses as an anchor. These plates are a required part in many quick-release fastener installations.
Your solution will need to take into account the cross-sectional depth requirements :

Quick Fasteners

They are being used here at time 1:05 in the video :

You guys should look for nutsets. It's like an aluminium pop rivit that's threaded inside. They are great and don't require a backing plate.
