Fall of 2021. They say there are two opportunities Be first or best best.

By Fall of 2021 the Austin Gigafactory could be up and running.

GM should consider ponying up the Krugerrand to let it use the Tesla Supercharger network, you don't want to be stuck at the 22kW charger at Aldi with this thing.

Edit: You'd be charging at ~35mph.

Yeah that's a big problem with "fast charging" is its not that fast when charging a truck.
11,000ft lb of torque is like a train or ship engine.

Apparently EA chargers are all 800v. Charging this Hummer at 350kW wouldn't take any more time than other EVs at that rate for its estimated 220 kWh battery. It can charge at up to 560 MPH. A typical charging session from 10% battery to 80% battery might take 25 minutes.

As other manufacturers have begun to do, that is wheel torque, not engine torque. In other words, a fairly pointless metric to advertise.

HUMMER

Another fine parachute from GM.
Don't let the Stone Age pass you by!;)

Estimated to get 1.6 miles per kWh. At my electric rates, that works out to about 6 cents per mile, or about what my Prius at 50 MPG was costing per mile.

Not too shabby to have a tank cost as much per mile to operate as a Prius. You'll be happy to know pricing starts at $80k, so there won't be many of these sold.

Oh, and welcome back! We missed you.

In the real world I bet efficiency is very similar to what the Cybertruck ends up being, especially if they both are the 35" mud tire high horsepower versions. I bet the aero numbers on this aren't as bad as you think and I bet the Cybertruck doesn't end up as good as you think. Shoppers for either of the beast model Tesla or Hummer don't give a rip about efficiency.

This won't be the first, Rivian is going to beat them, it also isn't the first "Supertruck" maybe "electric supertruck" but the TRX Ram is the first supertruck by any standard.

This may very well be the best, seems like more than the Bollinger at the same price.

I do like the look of it. I was thinking the Rivisn would be the best offroad but this may be a little better with all the Rivian features in addition to 4 wheel steering.

By comparison using the same standard a current 6.7 Cummins Ram can put 28,000 ft-lbs to the axle
