Only about a day left , only 44000 miles too! I would grab it but nowhere to get CNG around me , decent price so far

Yup, they sure do, just like LPG tanks do. I guess anything that has to deal with those types of pressures needs to be replaced eventually. There are composite CNG tanks now that save weight, but I don't know if they have a longer "expiration" date than a steel one or not.

Don't buy it if you don't have the cng availability. It would be useless. Let someone else that has access to the fuel use it.

Shame my neighbor has a free well and keeps saying he will get a pump. To bad the pump is like 6000$ he doesn't drive enough. They ate thinking about converting some farm stuff to run on it well see.

I used to know a guy that worked at a mechanical shop that specialized in CNG and LPG conversions for fleets. He would actually get people coming in that had either just bought a house in the area, or perhaps an older person whose spouse had passed away, and found themselves with a CNG pump in their yard that they would never use and just wanted to get rid of it! They were usually willing to pay to have it removed, they just didn't know where to go to get it done. He wouldn't charge them anything, then go in after work and remove it, have the line capped etc. Man I wish I had people coming into my work and offering me $6000 items for free if I was willing to come and pick it up!

If they did purchase it for farm equipment and were able to write it off for a business expense that would be awesome. But if it is simply for his commuting and yours you would need a beefyer pump anyways becuase the PHILs take a while to even compress a 6 or 7 gge tanks. I don't recall the specifics but they aren't fast.
