Greetings eveyone. n00b here.

Hey all,

I've been dong a lot of reading and searching around the forums and found that the MPGunio is really my only option as far as reading and estimating live MPG's for older OBDI cars. Currently what I have is a 1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon, with a 5.7L LT1 engine.

Reading the instructions and setup of a MPGunio there are certain specifics that it needs to operate correctly and accuracy.

1. Fuel Injector type
2. VSS mile count

Here is what I come up so far about my wagon with the help of Alldata.

According to Alldata, fuel injectors on my wagon have a resistance of 11-13 ohms which according to the MPGunio faq will make it a saturation type injector which is better to use for the MPGunio from what I've read.

Second, according to Alldata my VSS reads 4,000 pluses per mile. However it uses a two wire set up, one being the 5 volt reference signal and the other 12 volt ground.

Showing what i have, would there be any additional work for me to install a MPGunio.?
