100+ Hypermiling / Fuel Economy Tips

Recently, Darin, the other founder of EcoModder, and a few other members got their hands dirty compiling a master list of hypermiling tips to serve as a reference for everyone interested in getting better mileage. This list took a lot of work, and certainly isn’t complete, but I wouldn’t be out of line in suggesting it’s the best thing out there thus far.

When looking at it, please keep in mind that not every tip is for every person, every car, or every situation. You’ll have to use your best discretion and factor in many variables, the most important of which is safety.

That said, practicing some of these driving tips will definitely help you realize a boost in your mileage and some savings at the pump. Each of these tips will eventually be blogged here in greater detail, so stay tuned for more!
