Benjamin,

I always try to keep the cushion like you suggested when the other lanes are rubber banding, but I find that cars in other lanes want to fill that gap.

I understand that Driving With Load (did I remember that correctly?) is best, but it’s also difficult to maintain over long distances. Are there any mods that can be done to a cruise control to make it do DWL instead of constant speed?

Hi Randy,

You’re right, it is hard to keep that cushion sometimes, and it doesn’t always work perfectly, but I’ve noticed that most times you will be safe, and if you’re careful enough you’ll be fine even if one car gets in the way.

As far as cruise control, check this out: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthread.php/cruise-control-mpg-sensitive-logic-2031.html. Best of luck!
