94 Civci EG Part Out (D15B JDM VTEC-E) (92-95 Civic ETi)

Hi everyone,

Last week was a sad day when my 94 Civic EG hatchback swapped with a SOHC D15B JDM with VTEC-E from a (92-95 Civic ETi) was rear-ended and totaled. The swap had about 2k miles on it.

This can be a direct swap into any EG Shell, no troubleshooting, no extra parts needed, no BS. This thing was running great 2 weeks ago, I can still kick it on and run it at any time, but the shell cannot really roll.

I have put into countless hours into this swap and fully vetted the wiring, emissions systems (FED. Version Lean Burn capable), Passes CA smog with flying colors, accessories etc and it was running beautifully and lean burning all around.

I would love for this drivetrain to live on in another shell. I will provide you with all my notes, spreadsheets and records.

Really sorry to hear that. What a nightmare, man! To clarify, the only non VX mod is the camshaft? Which USDM ECU code do you have? The 37820-p07-A00 is the Federal and 37820-p07-L00 is the Cali. With the Fed one you shoukd get into lean burn. Was the car able to get into lean burn?

Wow, a completely rebuilt transmission too. You seem to have put a lot of time and some money into it.

See my car's mod & maintenance thread and my electric bicycle's thread for ongoing projects. I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.

Yes I dont even want to estimate the amount of hours I have into this project haha. probably getting close to 1000 hrs and a lot more money then I care to say
