Civic VX wheels or aftermarket?

I have a 1995 civic vx with aftermarket wheels.
I have searched around and found nothing to answer my question.

Should I go with the factory civic VX 13" wheels
or
The factory 14" Hx wheels
or
a set of aftermarket lightweight wheels?

I am thinking that the tires generally weigh more then the wheels so I think it would be better for me to go with a 14" light weight wheel and buy a lower profile tire which would save weight. IT would also give me a slightly larger tire diameter which would mean less revolutions per mile.

I am new to this so is my thinking correct?
What do you suggest?

If you suggest buying a lightweight aftermarket wheelset then what do you suggest?
It is hard to find how much wheels weigh. IS there certain brand of wheels that are hypermilers favorites?

HX + insight tires are the best, but I love my vx rims.

What about VX rims? They have better ride quality than the 14" rims. What kind of 13" tires are you guys running these days?

Hrm...

Well... I'm running HX rims with Pirelli tires on my ride, and I L-O-V-E THEM!!!

LoL!

So does everyone else:

Honda-Tech.com: Wheel and Tire: Pic Request: HX Wheels (Painted)

This HX wheel thread has been active for over 3 years - 72 pages of comments, and growing daily!

VX rims are 2 lbs lighter, give-or-take, but they have fitment problems on most cars, so their resell value is nil - plus, you will be severely limited in your choice of tires.

My HX/Pirelli combo is 24 lbs per wheel (yes, I've weighed them). To put this in perspective, a HX wheel weighs about the same as the OEM emergency spare 'circus tire'. Put another way, 4 HX wheels will weigh about the same as 4 emergency spare tires - that's how light they are!

Do I have to tell you what my recommendation is?!?!?
