Well, the 50 some-odd mpg he got on the fuel log is basically what people get NORMALLY in those cars... 45-50 mpg, as long as they're maintained properly and not being beaten on.. I think the least I've ever heard of anyone getting was like 35.

How would you come to that conclusion?

Yep, I don't see anything overtly wrong with it. At least nothing that isn't overtly wrong with many other cars... maybe it's just me.

Still alive and well.. and I have not been committed.. although that was really funny and i literally started laughing out loud..

So a update.. Nothing much has happened on the CRX project.. been working on my other projects.. the main one being a turbo diesel swap into a 2000 chevy blazer, that's now complete, next step is to add a heated two tank veggie system to it .. So I can burn up the 900+ gallons of vegtable oil i have sitting in my drive way.

As for projects, What really slows me down is the MN winters.. and no shop space.. its hard to even work on a car when its -20 and your in a snow bank..

Also work int he winter is pretty crazy for me so i just lay low in winter..

However today i did tinker a bit with the CRX.. as for its mileage I was getting about 55mpg with it and my goal was to improve it beyond a Prius.. so its been accomplished to a sense.. however baseline when i got it it was getting about 40.. so with just are mods it gained 15mpg..

I do plan on doing more mods to it but, for now I'm working on the veggie benz blazer.

Hi ebacherville,

"improve it beyond a Prius" ? Finished the tank over the last two weeks at 64.2 mpg in my 2006 Prius. 50 % highway, 50 % suburban secondary roads. So, your almost there....
