Gulf coast hypermilers

I'm not from he gulf coast , but props to the media outlets for expanding hypermileing to the masses.. really if every one did this we would not have as big of a fuel problem like we have now .. imagine every car in the USA was using even 10% less fuel.

Thanks Ebach. The hardest part is finding someone that strictly adheres to this doctrine like Wayne Gerdes. I've also found there are two kinds of mechanics on this issue:
1. Those that haven't heard of hypermiling
2. Those that have heard of it have been recommending many of the same techniques hypermilers use for years.

I've been looking all day and the best I can do is message board posts, but hopefully someone from around here will see it.
