I've used it before...it's a chlorinated hydrocarbon??? One recommended use is to mix it with axle grease to reduce bearing drag.

They use it in engines..gearboxes...gun bores.

I did use it once to lube a vacuum cleaner bearing that squealed...nothing stopped it till I mixed some Militec in with some grease.

Smells like rancid oil.

Shoot I just use Lucas Oil transmission fix and it works great Never really had any problems with noise from my tranny but it shifts a whole lot smoother

I had a trans go out...a bearing went...it was noisy in all gears...running metal soup.

I tried 80W140 truck oil in it...it was quiet when starting out...but as soon as it warmed up....not.
