Heaven knows what they were thinking with that redesign. It's not going to win them back customers from the Korean Eon. They already have the A-Star / Celerio, no need to uglify the elegantly simple Alto!
Again, seeing the economy figures for the Nano... Still doesn't make sense against an Alto which can do 13 kml im heavy traffic.

The Smart was only brought to the US for one reason: to offset Mercedes' CAFE numbers.
Here in the DC area, I see more Smarts driven as part of the Car2Go car rental service than privately owned.
