too cold metro

someone posted about theirs. i need to dothis when I'm am more awake. forget the antifreeze. i know not about jap cars. but there must be a thermostat bypass. it lets water flow when the thermostat is closed. i can't see a manufacturer blow this, but if the bypass were too big it could pass too much water and keep the motor cold. look for a hose going from the water pump to the head. if all fails find the id of the hose and plug it. a small; part of it that is. . I'd find the id of the hose find a copper water pipe cap that goes in. drill it out say 3/4 or better, that's a big drop in flow, and see what happens.. but check the thermostat first.
