My name is Brucey.

The avatar is also a picture of me. I have seen lots of problems with people trolling via hiding behind anonymity of the internet (Behind the keyboard = behind a mask) and show my real face and real name as a sign of good will towards other users on a forum.

Does it work? I dont know, really. I like to think it does. But I guess some people might just make fun of my really fine hat.

Nah, it's my home city of Madison, Alabama and MPG.
Good job on the story... providing details makes people less likely to consider it false and do any sort of research on it. It's a fiction writer's best quality, when they can add details to a story to make it more believable.

You should try a hand at short stories!

I am glad to see some people over the trauma of the internet a decade ago. My ID and openness was like you...I resorted to the FBI to resolve my internet woes. I got heisted. ripped off, abused, hacked and even made to look like a porn mongering warez thief...because I was open with my name....
the chipsets change and nt kernel (not to get nerdy) saved the freakin world in 00/2001....
then faith killed again with terrorist attack. It is a startling run and hide to live the memory realtime. I swore it was the computer industry single handed that caused that much rage...I hardly spoke my name again.

The last time I cried like that was when my mother died.

Sincerely, glad to see people using thier names again. I may never do it again...unless i know them. I haven't talked in chat in years...2010 will be ten years no realtime chat.

Upon the erasing entirely to be saved, I lost what I thought was friends, and never heard from them again, I even have a lawsuit (several) in action as a result of just one year of windows 98 internet in 1999/2000.

who else speaks thier name?

Apparently that was there before I posted? (The Japs part). I don't believe I saw it. If I had, I probably still wouldn't have made mention of it, not for the sake of offending anyone in any way, but because it's a period-correct statement.

In referring to WWII, you would refer to the "Enemy" as they were referred to during the time, at least the way I see it. Your opinion may differ.

Regarding the use of one's name, well, you're looking at my name every time I post. I don't put my picture up because I just haven't gotten that far yet. My picture is all over the internets anyway, so it really doesn't bother me. The last time I checked, I wasn't a victim of identity theft, but my credit score actually went up the last time I made a late payment, it's so low. No one would want my identity, and I'm OK with that. I prefer to do everything in cash anyway, and I just paid off my last credit card and burned it, because I find it utterly useless.
