Hello and welcome!

I'm also very new around here; I have an ambitious and unorthodox project in mind for my car, and a preliminary step along the way was to pick up a scangauge. Having done so, I can tell you it's going to blow your mind what a great product it is...

I already practiced mild hypermiling techniques on a regular basis prior to installing the gauge, so I didn't think I'd see that significant of a jump in fuel economy. Boy was I wrong.

Just by virtue of having that instant feedback (and constant reminder) displayed, I went from ~22mpg city to over 25mpg. That's about a 14% improvement over my previous average, and a solid 40% better than the EPA says I should be able to achieve.

The trip gauges, realtime telemetry and OBDII scanning abilities are really icing on the cake for me, and it makes it a product well worth it's price, even at retail cost.
