Very interesting conversion.

There are some great ideas here that could be used for trike building. I like the Metros old stick rigged up for shifting the cycle engine.

This also does bring up some interesting possibilities about putting a SMALLER than stock engine in a Metro or similar.

That chain connection from the cycle tranny to the differential also looks pretty interesting and gives some ideas for different ways an electric motor could be hooked in.

The only EV Metro I ever saw had a chain going straight from the motor to the transaxel similar to this setup.
