Found this link in the aerocivic.com logs today: Ecomodding - Topic Powered by eve community - a Discovery Channel discussion forum for the Mythbusters show. So now maybe they're aware of the car.

Wouldn't it be interesting to see them do a segment based on the question: "Can you almost double fuel economy on old cars with only about $400,- of materials?"

Now THAT would be interesting!
