Oh no, another Australian

Hi all,

Yet another Ecomodder checking in. I'm Ben (the 4th one here I understand!) and I'm from Australia. I've been turning a bit green recently, partly because of wanting to do my bit and partly to save some money.

Having recently sold my thirsty and fragile 5.7 Litre LS1 powered luxury car (14L per 100KM / 17MPG), I'm now cruising around in a 2005 Toyota Echo (also known as the Vitz and Yaris in some markets). That alone has more than doubled my fuel economy!

Hope to see some improvements thanks to my newly adopted driving habits and some ideas I've picked up here. First up, I plan to install a Scangauge!

Here it is! 1.3L VVTi, Manual, 850kg and 5.8L/100km (or about 40MPG I think). Oh, and the drag coefficient is 0.3 according to Toyota. Quite economical in stock form
