New use for old handlebar tape

After I installed my engine kill switch on my shifter I temporarily kept it in place with electrical tape. While deciding the real solution the tape turned in to a blob of goo after baking in the sun. I decided to use foam handle bar tape from a rode bike as the final solution. Doesn't react to heat. Absorbs palm sweat and has nice soft grip. Makes me want to ride my bike.
Next time I'll use black.
