That is what I do.
Fuel the car , pump up the tyres and drive home (less than 1 kilometre) and let the car stand in the garage overnight.
Next morning set the tyre pressures to what I want using my gauge ( and not the one at the petrol station which takes out that variable as well ) with the tyres cold and then do it all again next week.
