Although I loved reading Smokey's articles in popular Science in the 60's and 70's, I don't buy into conspiracy theories. It's always good to keep an open mind but the web is full of this stuff and and it always reads the same - lots of words and promises -easily distinguished from properly-written research papers.
HCCI is a totally-unrelated technology that makes scientific sense and is very likely to appear in the automotive marketplace.
