I have looked at their options.
It is disappointing that the most respected and often cited instrumentation is the SGII but there is no way (that I've seen in researching it) to get the data off of it to review the log. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I was thinking about this last night. At one point SG was talking about a USB disk for datalogging, but I don't know what happened. I have a hunch that they don't want to do this because their MPG algorithm is proprietery. Theoretically, if you have all the inputs in a nice spreadsheet along with the MPG, you would be in a position to reverse-engineer the algorithm.

That's my two cents and I'm buying a gumball with it,

PS - I have this, but I don't use it day-to-day :

I don't have a working MPG algorithm. I have collected information on creating a BSFC-based MPG algorithm for my car, but I haven't put it all together.
