Do you have problems down shifting? Is the noise only when the clutch is depressed or only when is not depressed?
Make sure you know exactly what the problem is. You don't want to put in $42 worth of syn mtx oil and find the problem is something else and you need to drain the trans and buy another $42 of oil.
Otherwise, there is a list....somewhere around here....of the thinest mtx fluids, measured in cintistrokes. I beleive VW's was the thinest.
